Marking three decades of dedicated service to the nation’s maritime industry, the port will officially celebrate its anniversary on 24 July 2025, with celebrations commencing on July 25, 2025.
To commemorate this momentous occasion, Lumut Port is unveiling a specially designed 30th-anniversary logo, a proud symbol reflecting its enduring legacy and ambitious future.
The newly designed 30th-anniversary logo is a visual narrative of Lumut Port’s journey and its core values. At its heart, the bold “30” represents the port’s stability, resilience and solid foundation built over three decades. The stylised “O”, ingeniously shaped as a continuous loop, signifies sustainability, innovation and the port’s ongoing progress in a dynamic industry.
The logo’s colour palette, carefully chosen, further enriches its meaning. The prominent use of blue directly links to Lumut Port’s maritime connection, evoking the vastness of the sea and the intricate network of shipping routes it facilitates. Complementing this, gold is incorporated to symbolise prosperity and success, indicating the port’s pivotal role in driving economic growth, both regionally and nationally.
Together, blue and gold powerfully communicate a blend of maritime tradition, trust and economic prosperity, perfectly aligning with the core values and aspirations of a leading port business. The “Years” text at the bottom adds clarity, marking this as a celebratory logo for a significant milestone and reinforcing the idea of longevity and achievement.
The creation of this meaningful emblem was an internal endeavour, designed by Ahmad Yuzrizal Mohd Jalani, Assistant Manager of Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility at Lumut Port. Yuzrizal is no stranger to corporate design. He has a track record of numerous internal corporate logos under his belt. When approached by management to design the anniversary logo, his inspiration was deeply rooted in the marine and port concept, ensuring the design resonated authentically with Lumut Port’s identity.
“It feels incredibly proud to see my work used for such an important occasion as Lumut Port’s 30th anniversary,” shared Yuzrizal. “It makes me determined to produce more works for my organisation and I truly feel like a valued member of the team.”
His design, chosen from six initial concepts presented to management, will soon be a ubiquitous symbol across the port’s digital and physical presence, from the official website and celebratory buntings to event collaterals and corporate shirts, with its official upload slated for early July 2025.
