Our commitments are acknowledged in the Occupational, Health & Safety (OHS) Policy. This policy is reviewed and approved by the Top Management enlightening its significance.
As a responsible employer and port operator, the safety of own and contractor’s personnel at our facilities is of utmost importance. Our “Zero Fatality” policy was set among the safe systems of work. We are consistently developing the safe work culture along with embedding HSSE fundamentals in our various training programmes. We strive to ensure our staff are free from work-related illness and injury through workplace risk management and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Towards efficient implementation of safe work system, we are transforming our HSSE Management System to digital based and paperless including E-Permit To Work (E-PTW) System, Hazard Management System, Action Tracking and Recording Register (ATAR) etc. HSSE Digitalization produces better and more efficient work processes, replacing manual and pen-and-paper work methods, and enabling big data collection, better analyses, and improved decision-making.
In pursuing for HSSE excellence, we are subscribe to ISO 45001:2018 OHS (Occupational Health & Safety) Management System to enable our company to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as culturing Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS).
As of marine facility security requirements, we are adhering to the standard set by the international and local governing agencies as well as registered and complying with ISPS code.
