Job Description:

Responsible for overseeing and leading maintenance procedures and actions in the company. Duties include managing the maintenance activities for the machinery, warehouses, landscapes, and offices. Ensuring the safety and efficiency of the employees and terminal, and at the same time comply with the organizational requirements and company procedures. Provide management support in making profitable long-term and short-term business decisions that meet high-quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:  

• Responsible for planning, organizing and supervising daily works schedule of electrical and mechanical technician’s fitters, mechanics and fitter cum forklift driver.
• Responsible for daily planning, organizing, scheduling and supervising of Maintenance Supervisor, and technicians. Monitors and assesses their performance from time to time and coordinate with Cargo Services Division on operations matters.
• Responsible for effective and efficient maintenance and operations of all safety equipment’s, fire prevention, detection and firefighting facilities, automation and alarm system.
• Ensuring that the set maintenance deadlines are met safely and efficiently.
• Monitor that the shift transition and update the management about the plant activities by daily basis and provide daily reports to the Head of Division.

Qualification:

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years’ working experience as Engineer in related field.
• Preferably candidate specializing in Maintenance / Repair (Facilities & Machinery) or equivalent.

Skills:

• Analytical and meticulous in performing task assigned.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to perform multiple tasks independently and efficiently.
• Possess meticulous, detail-oriented, and inquisitive traits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• A team player with good communication skills, able to interact with people from all levels.
• Excellent documentation/written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
