MANAGER

Job Description:

Responsible for maintaining strong relationships with existing clients whilst cultivating good relationships with new clients. Involved in market research to identify new clients, market trends, and manage the information for the company’s growth strategies. Communicate with the business unit in securing good business deals with the clients. Provide management support in making profitable long-term and short-term business decisions that meet high-quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Analyze market trends and develop structured approach and strategies in driving and securing new business.
  • Engage with existing and potential clients in exploring and discovering opportunities for business growth and client development. Incorporate all customers feedback and requirements in the process.
  • Coordinate the requirements, examine risks and integrate the client’s requirements with business operations, in developing and negotiating contracts.
  • Protects the company’s value and client’s trust by keeping information confidential.
  • Support Management in organization key initiatives.

Qualification:

  • Minimum requirement of a diploma in Logistics or Business Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the sales and marketing field.
  • Preferably candidates with minimum 3 years in managerial post.
  • Experience in Port operations will be an added advantage.

Skills:

  • Analytical and meticulous in performing the task assigned and excellent negotiating skills.
  • Good leadership skills, initiative-taking and able to perform multiple tasks independently and efficiently.
  • Articulate, professional, and polished approach to all business meetings.
  • A team player with good communication skills, able to interact with people from all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
